Dr. Thakhathi earned his PhD in Ethics and Responsible Leadership in Business with the highest distinction (Summa Cum Laude) from the Wittenberg Center for Global Ethics and Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg in Germany.
He also holds a Master of Commerce degree in Business Sustainability and Strategic Management with distinction (Magna Cum Laude) from the University of South Africa
His research on Sustainable Development and Just Transition has been featured in leading journals, including the Journal of Change Management, Journal of Cleaner Production, and Business Ethics, the Environment & Responsibility

Dr. Thakhathi brings a wealth of experience from his role as a former senior faculty member at the University of Pretoria’s Department of Business Management in South Africa. His expertise spans Business, Strategic, and Responsible Management. Most recently, he served as a Visiting Professor at the Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM), where he taught MBA executives and Master’s candidates in Business Ethics, Sustainability, and Organizational Behavior.
